Ian Lazarus
Ian joined the firm in 2015. He chairs the Insurance practice but his extensive experience in executive and board-level search spans consumer finance, fintech, professional service and not-for-profit sectors within public, private and private equity-backed companies, as well as charities and other not-for-profit organisations.
Before Sainty Hird, Ian set up the Financial Services practice at The Miles Partnership in 2002. Previously he worked at Russell Reynolds and was MD at Newman, Martin & Buchan Ltd, an international insurance brokerage firm. He began his career at Willis Faber in 1983.
Ian holds an MBA from Insead and a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of York.
